Car Training

I adore the car.
I try to get into all cars.
But I get antsy.
I throw all my cushions and toys on the floor.
I scream, "Are we there yet?"
Then I scream, "Are we there yet?"
Then I yell, "Mother, are we there yet?"
Then I jump out of my car seat and land in the middle of
me and Monster's booster seat.
Then the vehicle is swerving.
Its so much fun.
But I don't think Mother is suppose to swerve and yell and laugh.
I say mother,
calm yourself.
I am still buckled in on my harness.

I think I am getting a seat belt

  1. Oh that was so funny Edward. We do not like our car seat, we cry and scream to get out. We do like the car though.

  6. It was have frightened your mom to have you moving around so much. One time, when I was taking care of Lily(Hunter's cousin), she was trying to hang out the front window and her collar kinda got stuck-So I had to pull her in before she choked. It was scary. Hope you have a fantastic Monday.

  7. Edward Julius you make me MOL. Dear Me Mother must be about to wet herself from LOLing at all your crazy antics. I bet Bossy Lily begins to hollwer when you jump out of your car seat. As for me and cars...they are not my favorite things to ride in. I often sing the song of me people in 1st soprano.....even though my longest car ride is only 10 minutes. I can sing it 100 times.

  11. Hehe the car is always a tricky place to be. For me, it means pee and poop time, if you get my drift.

  12. I hafta wear a seat belt too, Edward...I fell out the window of the moving car once when I was a pup and ever since then I've had to wear a seat belt and the window is never rolled down to far...

  21. Well I hope it is a seatbelt and not a crate. I have both and a seatbelt is much nicer.

  24. My sisters and I love to ride in the car, but we just sit quietly with our seat belts on or we take a nice nap. Maybe it is the driver that makes you so restless ;)

  25. BOL, Edward, you sound a lot like Lightning in the car. He loves to get in the car but then he spends the whole ride barking and crying and trying to get out of his seat. Mom has been trying forever to get him into a seat belt, but it is sooooooooooooo hard.
