I'm Home

Hi friends
I am home and on house arrest.
yep jail, with a kitty kat get well card hanging on my cell.
I was given bread and water.
Mom is pretty sure my 87 blings are platinum or white gold.
They upgraded from my sterling silver knee surgery bling.
see my pain patch?
I hope I don't need to go to Narcotics Anonymous after these 12 days of a zillion pills are over.

Once a pound of time,
I held my tail close to my hiney
Next thing I know, an MRI than
I was under the knife.
I had calcium deposits under the disc in my spine (near tail) L-6 and L-7.
The nuerologist cleaned it out and completed a preventive cleaning up to L-11 in my spine.
Prognosis-excellent.
Doc does not understand how I was not in pain.
Guess I am tough

THANK YOU FOR THINKING OF ME.....
Merci..
Snorts
Lily

  1. I'm glad to see you are finally home, but sorry to see it has to be under house arrest. I guess that makes sense considering the surgery you had. Be a good girl and heal fast.

  26. I'm so glad you're home, Lily!!! It's always better to heal at home, though usually you get more than bread and water (we may have to talk to your mom about that, though I suspect there's a tiny bit of exaggeration here). Feel better real quick, my little friend and I hope the bill doesn't break the bank!

  41. OMG Lily, you poor thing. You can certainly share my sun spot any time you want. I will even snuggle up against you (gently, of course) to keep you warm and comfy. If you want, mom can even cover us with a blankie and feed us broccoli and popcorn.

I have no clue what your bill could be but mom says S3,397.00. Personally, I don't think she has a clue she just likes that amount.

    get better soon.

  42. Oh my goodness!!!! That is quite a zipper you have on your back! I am so glad you are home and all done with surgery. Hope your recovery is quick and painless. If you get hooked on the pain pills, I can hook you up with a rehab. Brigitte is there recovering from her, ahem, problem. I think your vet bill was priceless, cuz you can't put aprice on a lovely little Lily's good health! But maybe it is around a years worth of treats money?

  43. Lily I am so happy you are home! I know you will get better real quick now with your Mommy and Benny giving you loveys and comfort. Wow that is some bling you have there. I hope that now you feel like a million times better when you go for walkies and stuff.
