Follow the Feet

If we follow her feet maybe she won't go.
We follow them to the getting ready mirror.
To the kitchen.
We block her path.
I get teary eyed and wait for the next move.
I sit on her foot.
I look pathetic.
We wait by the table.
Should I bite her toe?
I hate when momma leaves.

  14. I so understand! I try laying on both mom's feet, that doesn't work either! I know when she gets in that water sprinkly box thing then puts on clothes & shoes I'm in trouble. And powerless to do anything about it *sigh*. I feel your pain - but what's a Frenchie to do?

  19. Hey! I think my momma has those same shoes. Sob. She only wears them when she is abandoning me like your mom did. Are those special leave your dog home alone shoes?

  22. Oh noooo!

How could they leave us, right? We do everything in the dog-book to look cute and unleavable, but they always go off in the mornings. Luckily, they always come back in the evenings too.

  23. We know the feeling, Benny and Lily. We usually just sleep while Mom is gone, but Phantom is almost always at the back door with his snooter right up against the bottom of it, just waiting.

  24. At least you have each other. Olive is here all by her lonesome all day. She does sleep while I'm in the shower, but other than that she follows me around just like that. Happy Monday! (so glad it's over!)
