If we follow her feet maybe she won't go.
We follow them to the getting ready mirror.
To the kitchen.
We block her path.
I get teary eyed and wait for the next move.
I sit on her foot.
I look pathetic.
We wait by the table.
Should I bite her toe?
I hate when momma leaves.
Benny & Lily
She'll be back soon....just take a nice nap....
ReplyDeleteor throw a pawty!!! we're furry much known for our tooting pawties in our neighborhood.

I know exactly how you feel but I must admit, you do have some nice moves! How could your mom refuse you???

Lilly, Piper, Carreleigh and Ruairi
I think you both needed to sit on her feet at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI so understand! I try laying on both mom's feet, that doesn't work either! I know when she gets in that water sprinkly box thing then puts on clothes & shoes I'm in trouble. And powerless to do anything about it *sigh*. I feel your pain - but what's a Frenchie to do?
ReplyDeleteSnorts-
Brutus the Frenchie

What sad little faces; just think how happy and smiley they are when you return.
ReplyDeleteHey! I think my momma has those same shoes. Sob. She only wears them when she is abandoning me like your mom did. Are those special leave your dog home alone shoes?
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
And so does my momma!
ReplyDeleteShe got them at Kohls last month on big sale AND then another 30% off ;-)

Oh noooo!
ReplyDeleteHow could they leave us, right? We do everything in the dog-book to look cute and unleavable, but they always go off in the mornings. Luckily, they always come back in the evenings too.
Sonic
We know the feeling, Benny and Lily. We usually just sleep while Mom is gone, but Phantom is almost always at the back door with his snooter right up against the bottom of it, just waiting.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
my three do the same thing :(
ReplyDeleteAt least you have each other. Olive is here all by her lonesome all day. She does sleep while I'm in the shower, but other than that she follows me around just like that. Happy Monday! (so glad it's over!)
ReplyDeletewe know how you feel and next time, just sit on your bed and smile. she'll return in a jiffy!
ReplyDeleteit works all the time when you show them that you're not bothered by their leaving
chikisses
Awwwww! Moose hates it too and follows me around like you pups do. Believe me if she could stay I bet she would!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post. The way we do it here: Linguini and Frankie do it exactly like you two and I... stay on my heating pad!
ReplyDeleteTwinkie
I hate when mom leaves, too. I think the both of you need to grab onto her pants and not let go.
