  1. WE aren't crazy about apples either but maybe peanut butter on a slice of apple might be more appealing:)

  4. We'll only eat Granny Smith apples because they are the best. Mom's given us different ones to try, Spartan, Macintosh but we spit those out! Only Granny Smith for us! Maybe if you tried a different kind you'd like it too... maybe?

  7. Yep. Not super excited about the apples, here, either, but break out the peanut butter ANYTIME!!! (When TaiChi was still alive Mom would give her all her pills in peanut butter every night, and we'd all get some. Now that TaiChi has crossed the Bridge, the peanut butter seems to stay on the shelf a lot more...)

  8. So funny. Our pooches eat anything, so it's hard to imagine dogs not liking something that is actually edible.

  9. You too are quite adventuresome in your eating. I must smell...think about it....smell it again...then lick it....smell it...then possibly eat it.

  14. I'm still on the fence about apples myself. Mom gives me a piece every once and a while, and I work on it for like 5 minutes. Sometimes I eat it, sometimes I don't... But I DO slobber exceptional amounts regardless! Hey Ben, you know what they say about "an apple a day..."

  16. So you don't like Apples Lily? Or was Benny just hogging all the yum? I don't remember the header saying '09 probably because there were always 2 adorable pups in the pic. I have been away for awhile so I am only now seeing your new pic and it is lovely!

  18. Olive's faves are clementines and carrots. She will pretty much eat anything. Recently I've given her bananas, celery, asparagus, blackberries, and even lettuce! She'll eat it all. But I've never tried apples. I read before I gave her clementines that citrus seeds can be poisonous to dogs. So is dried fruit. I don't remember about apple seeds, but you may want to check on that.

  19. I have to admit I've never tried an apple. I bet it would take cream cheese pretty well. I'll take it under consideration.

  21. My vote wouldn't have made a difference :) We love apples too. Yesterday, we tasted cashews for the first time, but M needs to see if they're safe. We tasted them when she knocked her bag on the floor. BOL

  30. Thanks for dropping by the Daily Corgi to say hi to me, Gimli from Country Corgis! Grammy says that you two are adore-a-bull with those "corgi ears!" It was nice to meet you. We've seen your names on several of our friend's blogs, too, so we sniffed our way over here.

Us pups love apples, though Grammy is careful that we don't eat any of the seeds since they have arsenic in them. The 3 older corgis around here aren't crazy about them, though Uncle BG will sometimes eat a bite or so.
