The Reenactment

Running with me.
I was never in the air.
Hits head on cement planter.
Falls back flat on hiney
Begs for help from friend behind that door.
Friend appears and pretends the huge lumps and bumps and bleeding eye is not happening.
Gets ice.
ER
Tests
Concussion.
Out of work for 1.5 weeks.
The real mess is not really visible in the photos.
Through all the drama queen went through,
she never once let me go (its a fenced yard)
nor did she ever drop the little bag of poop she was  holding.
Now thats a momma!
Snorts
Lily (& Edward)

  3. Oh my stars and stripes we are so very very very sorry your sweet Mother had that terrible accident. We can only imagine the pain and agony she must have experienced. Concussions are scary not to mention black eyes and bruises and cuts. Yep that is a good Mother to hang on to your leash and keep you safe....even in a fenced in yard. Bless her heart
    Kitty kisses to her ouchies
    Hugs madi and mom

  18. We are so glad your mama is gonna be all better BUTT you need to keep an eye on her and alert her to danger. We have this problem with our mom too. She tips over now that she is ancient.

  20. OMG that's something my mom would do. We home your mom is okay and you really need to give her lots of snuggles this week (because after a week and a half of staying home she might get cranky, my mom would)

  21. Oh my! That was a bad fall! Glad the neighbor was home and able to help rescue you and your Mom.....I'm sure you're taking super good care of her while she's off work. Sounds to me like an opportunity for extra treats (tee hee) for taking care of her!

  23. Sounds like she will be joining my Mom in the accident prone, multiple scarred Mom's club. Sorry to hear she was injured, but we totally get it! My mom does something like that at least once a year, but only ended up in the hospital one time.

  29. Goodness! Good thing there was help nearby! I know you and Edward will take good care of your mom. My mom fell face first with me once and had a gash in almost the same place as yours, and bruised ribs! Love Dolly

  30. Oh, your poor mama! We sure hope she is okay. Jan can empathize with the injury and with her hanging onto you and the poop bag. Jan once went down an entire flight of steps hanging onto a bag of food with birthday cake in it without harming a crumb. She, however, was not in the same condition. Hope your mom heals quickly.
