Bathing Your Pups

Ms. Jane asks:
How often do you bathe your pups?
I heard conflicting reports.

Mother:
I bathe the pups every weekend with medicated shampoo. I soak their feet for three minutes then bathe. I find washing them weekly keeps their scratching and allergies under control.

  10. Hi hi hi! Ojo here! We only get the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad things called Baths when the person does not appreciate the wonderful smells we bring home to her. I hear skin of Dogs like you can be tricky though, which probably means you get more Baths! My condolences!!!

  12. We do every 2-4 weeks for Nola (since she sleeps in bed), and every 8-10 weeks for everyone else.

  15. We don't get baths very often as we don't really need them and don't want to strip our furs of all the oils and stuff.

  16. We try for every week with Ruby, but sometimes it's every other week.

  17. We don't get baths very often, mostly to help blow our undercoats out, but Mom says she could never put us in the sink anyway:) Edward doesn't look too happy about this whole thing, but we know that Moms always do what is best for us even if we don't like it.

    Happy weekend.

  19. I get a profeshonal bath every 6 weeks, and, depending on my musky man smells, I might get one or two home jobs in between.

  20. Phew! Every week. We're glad we don't have allergies. If we're sort of stinky (HER description.) we have some dry powder shampoo. And if we get muddy, we have a bath....but once a week, is a bit rough in our opinion. However, we must say, a warm bath in the sink looks a bit cozy.

  21. My Frenchie is constantly licking at his paws and scratching his face! We eventually got medicated wipes for his paws that we use 2 times per week, but I like your soaking the paws with the shampoo at bath time! Thanks!

  22. OMD you said the "B" word. I must run and find a bed to hide under now. Please don't let my Mom see this.
