This here is one exercise I do to make my back legs and feets strong.
The physical therapist said stand on the curb
than mom stands directly behind me and pulls gently (back)
so I put all my pressure and weight on my back legs.
Three reps...repeat...

ReplyDeleteLooking good Lily, thank you for showing this - Mom was wondering what exercises Bailey could do to strengthen his back legs. He just finished a round of cold laser treatments for arthritis in his hips and he is getting a series of adequan shots too. But mom thinks he needs to get his back leg muscles stronger too

Physical therapy on a walk is a great idea!

I had a dog before K who needed the same kind of surgery as Lily had. I remember those exercises. And then there was the walking up steep hills (which automatically shifts more weight onto the back legs). I'm so glad you're doing so well, Lily!
