Slimy Dog Bowls


Mr. J asks:
How in the world do you get rid of all the slimy "ness" on your dogs bowls after they eat. I was hoping someone could help.

Mother:
Oh how we don't like the slim. Scoulding hot water....I wash the bowls with their own doggy sponge three times. Not only to get rid of the slim but any bacteria that may form. We always wash the bowls immediately after eating.

    we hand wash our bowls after once each meal and once a week we do bleach soak. Keeps them clean and safe

    We are all about clean bowls!! We (ok, Mama) wash them efurry day and sanatize them in the dishwasher once a week!!

    I normally let the cat lick mine out, then it goes in the wash. I would hate to think what else that cat eats.

    Mom does the exact thing to my Winnie the Pooh and friends plate, which by the way is an antique..my human sis used the exact plate when she was a wee girl..she is now 43.

    Yeah my Momma is crazy about my dog bowl too, she washed after every meal in boiling hot water, she also washes my drinking water bowl every night too, I have three water bowls and two food bowls, I'm pretty well looked after! I have a question for your Momma, what games can I play with my Mum and Dad that uses my mind? I already play with my Kong ball and play find the treat with my snooter when my Mum hides treats one at a time in a room for me to find but do you play any games that I may like to play too?     Yeah, Ma washes mine all the times, I like the idea of soaking in bleach once a week though. Good Idea Cowspotdoggie's Moms!

    Mom washes ours every time we eat too and uses liquid Palmolive with the oxy stuff in it. Gets them shiny and clean - no more slime.

    We never have ANYTHING left in our bowls after eating. We clean them and then exchange bowls and clean again.

    Water bowl only rinsed out several times a day, food bowl washed only every few days unless eating more than kibble. I lick both my bowl and Bella's little dish until they gleam!

    Every day our bowls go through the dishwasher! Mama handwashes our water bowls...we have several scattered throughout the house. We HATE slime!! xo Chloe and LadyBug

    Slime free here too guys...spray some vegetable oil on the bowls first makes them easy to clean..even if the Forrest and Doc could lick the pattern of wallpaper hahaahah :) loves Fozziemum xx
