Friends....she lost her mind...

Yesterday, we were traveling on a BUSY Los Angeles freeway.
Deb was driving 87 (65) mph
Suddenly....out of nowhere, a Chihuahua and a scruffy teeny thing ran in traffic.
Every buddy was swerving and screeching on their brakes.

momma yelled to Deb, "Pull over" as she was opening her door.
Deb was scared, since she thought we were all going to get crushed and killed.

Some how mom was crawling around in the gravel looking for the pup.
A lady stopped (she worked at a wild life rescue)

Mom was trying to grab the pup. He was hiding under the car.
The other lady reached, grabbed the pup.
The pup was SCREAMING and peeing he was so scared.
He tried to bite mom and the lady.

Now we are screaming in the car.
The pup calmed down...he was safe....
The Chihuahua ran down the freeway...we lost him..

Even though Deb and me and Lily yelled at mom cause it is not safe to stop in freeway traffic.
We say "Yea!!!"
Cause she saved one terrified pup.

  7. Yay Guys,

So happy your Mom got the pup, it's often so hard to help us Doggies when we're scared, my Mum took ages to catch a little one a few months back :)

Your Mum is awesome - but you already know that :)

    Wags to all,

    Your pal Snoopy :)

  14. Hey Benny, Hey Lily, Jet here.

Hero of the day, I say to your Mom. Yes, it is dangerous, but you know Moms, they take care of everything.

As to Halloween... you guys (Mom's NJ term of endearment) must know my human sister, Rachel. She told Mom yesterday her Halloween plans!

  17. OMD, Halloween already? Mama hasn't even thought of costumes for us, she's too busy making quilts. Your Mama is sooooo wonderful for saving the puppy. Hope you can find the owners, and if not, hopefully someone will adopt the little pup.
