Humans are always babbling on about one thing or another. I am sure you listen quite well when important words are being said. Personally, I consider words like "come" "sit" etc. to be optional.
Oh yes, we too have selective hearing. I think we learned that from our Grandpa! Wiggle a treat in front of Grandpa's face and he'll come running too :)
Daisy has selective hearing for sure! She decides when she wants to get up off the couch to go for walks when she's good and ready, for one thing! She's a puzzle sometimes but I love her to pieces!
Do I have selective hearing? Bahhaaa, that would be a yes. I mean, why listen when you could just ignore them and stay in bed all day acting pitiful? You look just like me without ears Lil!
We absolutely do have selective hearing. Sometime Momma holds out her hand trying to fool me that there is a treat in there, but I don't get fooled!
ReplyDeleteOh ! Yes !
ReplyDeleteWe get selective hearing, it is functionally very efficient!
ReplyDeleteOh yes I do. Don't we all. That last photo is a crack up. Thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
What did you say??? All we heard was treats...
ReplyDeleteSam and Pippen
My Nina has selective hearing, but I think it is just due to her old age deafness. Lily you are too cute for words.
ReplyDeleteCindy

ReplyDeleteI listen and I hear, I just don't react if I can't be bothered!! Tee Hee
Hope you're having a fun day :)

We both have selective hearing but Molly's is far worse than mine. You look funny without ears, Lily!

Well PAWsonally I think you didn't HEAR your mom correctly. I think she said you were Fearless.
ReplyDeleteI definitely hear MUCH better when treats are involved! It's part of the reason Mom was so nervous about that CGC test. BOL!
