  1. I love this!!! LOL I had a dog once (Bridget) who stopped in the middle of a BUSY street to poop. My friend left us there and Bridget did her business. Embarrassing for me but didn't bother her a bit. When you're tired you're tired and when NATURE CALLS..well gotta answer...

  5. We think Cindy might be on to something:)

Mom used to have a cockapoo who would get too tired to walk any more and Mom had to carry her home:) Guess maybe you should have brought along Lily's stroller.

  11. When you think about it, right in the middle of the street is as good a place as any to scratch your back and get some sun on your belly.

  17. When Elka was a puppy, and she felt the walk had gotten a little too long, she would lay down in the first shade that she found and refuse to go any further. I once carried her three blocks before she believed me that we were heading home!

  24. OMG, that's just what Molly does on our walkies! Mom hauls Molly up by her harness straps but you're not wearing a harness, Benny! Did you ever get up or are you still down for the count?!

    Love ya lots,

  25. Wow! I never thought of that strategy. I usually just stand still and refuse to move when I don't want to walk on. I will have to try that. I think the adorable belly flash would make humans more sympathetic.
