The Sewing Kit

Her "sewing kit" is pathetic....
and she has the thread hanging off the left side of my face...
What in the world is she going to sew?
She has 4 colors of thread, 1 needle and
cheap teeny plastic scissors in her "sewing kit."
Oh my snuggie.
She is doing an ok job if
I have to say so myself.
Oh my word look at those crap-O scissors.
Not bad..
thanks and
good night
Lily (& Benny)

  1. That is just one of those things moms do for the pups we love. We sew their snuggies even though all we have is a crappy sewing kit. What a good mom!

  2. Good snoopervising, Lil! We're certain she wouldn't have done such an awesome job if you were there!

  3. It may look like a pathetic sewing kit to you, but at least she was able to repair you snuggie instead of just tossing it in the trash.

  17. I think all dog moms have some form of lame-o sewing kit for the sole purpose of doing "surgery" on toys/beds that somehow get de-stuffed!

  18. Even with "crap o" tools she did do a pretty good job of saving your stuffy. I don't like when my come open like that. Sweet dreams.

  22. Well, even if her tools aren't top notch, at least She knew that Your snuggle needed fixing, and got on it. With you to supervise, she had to do a good job.

  23. Mom does a lot of cross-stitching, and so our stuffies get fixed with cross-stitch thread. Which can be all sorts of funky colors. But they get fixed (when the 'ER pile' gets big enough, that is). And that's all that matters, right?!?

  27. Mama is always pulling her sewing kit out to repair toys! We tell her to throw the toys away and buy some new toys but it just doesn't work!

  28. You should be glad that it's just a kit. Our mom sews with a machine which seriously interferes with our snuggle time on the couch. Most of the time it's for other dogs even! But sometimes, we do get cute outfits and cozy pugjamas.

  33. BOL, this post made us laugh. Mom has a "pathetic" sewing kit, too. I don't think her sewing kit even comes with a crappy scissor, so your mom is one step ahead already! :-)
