  20. We are so glad the Lily came through her surgery ok, and we will be keeping our paws crossed for her speedy recovery. While she's convalescing, perhaps you can be building her a lot of ramps so she can get up on the big bed and sofa and stuffs without having to do that jumping that is so dangerous for her knee and her back. You may have to sit on her, very gently, to keep her from running and jumping too much while she heals. We may have to start a Cone Club at this rate. Ernie is in one, Jed will be back in his next week, seems like we can't turn around without seeing one of our blog friends in a Cone. Except for the horses; ever notice how they never have to wear a Cone?

  32. Hopefully she is resting and getting good medication. My opinion is as many painkillers as she needs to keep her calm and out of pain for the near term. Dogs are so darn brave that they don't complain nearly enough. I'll be thinking of all of you as the day progresses.

  33. Such good news that Lily came through surgery just fine--are you all ready to wait on her hand and foot?? I bet that girl is gonna milk it! (bell ringing) "Ma! Benny! Annie et al!"

Those Frenchie injuries are so scary; Humphs hasn't had to have surgery but did have a minor back issue that required steroids, six weeks crate rest, and some chiro visits. It was hard to keep him still! Here's many Frenchie kisses and yummy treats to Ms. Lily as she recovers 'til she's as good as new!

p.s. Bella Bean and Humphs agree that Lily needs a "Radio Flyer" red wagon to be carted around in. Her personal chariot. WIth bling of course!
