It's okays...it was just a little white lie dats all! No harm done. Why does you lick your feetsies? My brudder and sissy do it too...vet says theres could be a million raesons why. So I ask your opinion.
Oh Lily, I know just how you feel, and I do the same thing!! When my mom catches me licking and says "Clover!!" I look away and pretend I wasn't doing anything at all... I think it's working... xo
Uh oh Lily. Feet licking is not good because the parents don't like it. Gunther licks his feet sometimes too. But because his tongue is so big, he can't hide it because he's so loud! BOL!
Hey Lily! Wow, a little fibbie huh. I think you should just tell your Mom that you do this to keep your tootsies squeeky clean so you don't mess up the floor! BOL Grr and a Chuckling Woof, Sarge, COP
YEH RIGHT... Like SARGE really cares about draggin in TONS of mud. hehehe
I don't think my mom likes it when I lick my feets either. What is up with THAT?? It might be that THEY are green with jellyness beclaws... they can't REACH THEIRS. BaaaaWaaaah.
BOL, my brothers spring allergies have kicked in and he is licking his feet raw - when maama isn't watching. When's she's watching, he's a "little angel". BOL, good thing you are both cute enough to get away with it!
Jon Farleigh gnaws on his feet for exactly 2 minutes - only in the a.m. - right after he wakes up - every day. We think he's neurotic. You aren't neurotic, though, are you Lily? We love your face in the last photo. :)
Lily you're so smart! We being long(er) fur have a disadvantage. When the fur of licked area is wet, it's an obvious tell-tale sign what we've done! Unfair!
Hey, we always knew you and King Toffee had something in common! But then again- maybe it's the royalty. :) (BTW When the King licks his feet too much, we wash his feet and dry them thoroughly - with a hairdryer. It seems to ease things for a while) Paws crossed TOBY IN SOUTH AFRICA
curious . . . is this a frenchie thing? we normally foster pitties but we now have a frenchie/pittie mix (we think), and he has all sorts of curious behaviors that we don't normally see in pits . . . like obsessive paw-licking, and snorky-snausagey sounds when he's concentrating very hard on a kong, or running around. thoughts?

We cats lick our paws and the use them to wash our faces. Is paw-licking a bad thing for doggies to do?
ReplyDeleteHey, I know! Whenever you get that "I wanna lick my toes" feeling - lick your keys instead!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...maybe you and my bro Duncan can start a feets licking club, although his licks his at 4 a.m....weird... :)

I noticed dog feet smell like Fritos. Is that why you like it?
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking there must be a darn good reason why dogs lick their feet. Kelly does it too. Maybe you should tell your mama to try!

I lick my paws ALL the time. Allergies make me do it...or at least I'm going to blame it on the allergies...
ReplyDeleteOOOH do you have allergies???? Mom said that her Sheltie Katie had bad allergies and used to lick her paws lots!
ReplyDeleteI agree though, like your keys. BOL

TD is a feet-licker too. But he wants to warn you, Lily, that the Moms have eyes in the backs of their heads, so be very careful.
