A Visit to Lily's Specialist

Okay the sunshine sure did not last long. A row boat to the doctor's office would have been much better.

Here we are.

My doctor lives in here.

Holy crap. I can see just fine momma.

Our turn. Go ahead Lily, some buddy is calling you.

Don't look at me. I am only here to support my Lily.

Hmm. Wonder if doctor blogs in here.

Will they keep me here? Will they remove my right ear since I have a left one? I'm scared.

Lily, don't do gasers in here. The room is small and its stinky-winky.

Listen Lil, it will be okay. Don't be nervous. We will be back to get you in 479 minutes.

On no, they found us.

While waiting for my Lily we drove over to some buddy in a box for some goodies and coffee.

Hey...lady...give me some. Remember I had to fast cause Lily did.

Oh yea...hash browns.

Heading back across the lot to wait for Lily. 479 minutes are up.

Look at that poor thing with the lamp shade on his neck.

dum..dee...dumm..wheeee...wheeee.....

cool chair...hmm, Highlights magazine.

Done that...

Hey, I'm stuck. I guess this is what my Lily will look like if her right ear is missing.

Holy Nylabones! What was I thinking by voluntarily getting on the scale.

There's my girl. With her ears intact. I better pretend I am drowsy like her. Ya know, for support.

Home we go.

The doctor said Lily had no lump in her ear but a pretty good infection. She has to take 74 medicines and drops for her ear. She gets to keep both ears and no surgeries for now. Thank you for thinking of us.
It's a happy rainy day.

  2. Why did your momma go to an eye specialist for ear troubles? Are you sure they were looking for lumps in the right place? I am glad all is well and she still has 2 ears. I bet she would tip over a lot if she lost one. Stay dry!

  7. I's hoping that Lily's medicines help her ear. I'd hate to see a little Frenchie like her lose her ear. You were being real, um, erm, supportive there Benny. Did anyone think to save a hash brown for Lily?

Did you get Lily something yummy from the clown place?

Be sure to give her a big kiss from us when she wakes up and make sure to help keep her chilled out when she's getting her 74 medicines!

  16. Glad you told us she got to keep both ears, cuz in that last picture one looks suspiciously absent!! Good job being the support system Benny - someone has to eat those hash browns & keep momma company when she is otherwise disposed!!

  19. What can I say that I haven't yet? You're the world's best brother! You're also very good at faking being drowsy (your mom should keep this in mind). I'm so glad it's just an ear infection. I know it hurts but it can be fixed. I'm sure you'll take good care of Lily until she's 100%!

  21. Lily girl, we're so glad that there are no lumps and bumps in your ear. An infection can be cleared up with medicines so that's a good thing. Moms was told that us Frenchies can sometimes get yuckers in our ears.

I hope you feel better soon Ms. Lily.

    Love,
    Betty

  28. Hi Bennny! I came across your blog while visiting Jazzi. I think you are a grand Pup Scout! You waited all 479 minutes diligently for Lily! That's a real tough cookine in my book! Then to show your added pup Scout deed, you always pretended to be groggy too! Wow!

Hi Lily. I am sending you warm hugs to help you feel better! Do you know you have a very spoecial Benny!!! Can't tell you why, but you really do!!!

Hope that when you are feeling better, you and Benny can drop by sometime and say hi!!

    Hugs & smooches xoxo
