Griffith Park Walk

Hi Friends,
We took a ride to Griffith Park today.

Come on every buddy in the car. Not you Oscar...

Ouch..Lily get off my back. Mom wheres my car seat?

Benny quiet. I am off and we are getting ready to go.

If I reach under Annie I could peek out the window.

Finally we are here at Griffith Park. This is how the place got its name.On December 16, 1896, the civic-minded Colonel Griffith Griffith bequeathed 3,015 acres of his Rancho Los Feliz estate as a Christmas gift to the people of Los Angeles to be used as parkland. That was nice of him.

These smells are awesome. Annie tasted the horse poop. She said it was dry like hay.

Holy crap look at that sign!

Annie get down. It's only fun til some buddy gets hurt. Annie, off.

This place is filled with great smells. We had a fun time at this place.

Every buddy in. We love a good car ride.

I can't see. Wheres my car seat?

Hope you guys have a fun filled smelling snortin day
Benny & Lily

  18. Hey! I couldn't wait 'till tomorrow. I just wanted to give you a shout because of the lovely comment on my blog. But then, OMD I read today's post and... we're neighbors. You know how often we hike at Griffith Park? Quite often! I'll keep my eyes open for your pack. I have to run now, 'cause Mommy had a horrible day and she wants to go stretch our legs but I'll come by later tonight or tomorrow to read up on the posts I've missed. I can't believe I did that. Huh. Silly me.

  19. Looks like a great place for a walk! Marge has never eaten horse poop -- but tried to roll in it!

  20. We always thought horse poop would taste a whole lot better than dry hay! Bummer! We're guessing that Annie ate it anyway!
What a fun adventure you all had!
