Lily's Baby Story

Hi Friends,
My little Lily told me this story… it gave me a sniffle, then I bit her leg. One day when I was born, I noticed I had a fat sister and two brothers. I couldn't really see, but I knew what I had to do to drink milk. Yummy. Another day came and the lady said I was going to go live with a new lady. I was so sad. I had to leave my mommy and daddy, my fat sister and brothers. I was so scared, I was shaking. After 7 weeks, it was time to, what she called "relocate." The lady and her son wrapped me up in my blankie. I had a blue blankie, today I prefer pink. Although it felt cozy, I was still shaking. It was time, time to leave the only place I knew. She arrived, my new "mommy." She wasn't furry, she was a person mommy. She had the biggest smile on her face. She was thrilled. She gently took me from the lady, held me up and kissed me on the polka dot on the top of my head. She then kissed me on my, what was then, a pink nose. I wondered why this new mommy was slobbering on me. I was so tiny, I thought, hmmm this is how persons show affection. She held me, I felt very safe. I liked this new mommy. On the way home I slept in a box with bars on the windows. This traveling box was comfy, I slept all the way home. During the next few weeks I remember mommy always saying "okay, go pee pee, poopy potty." But I knew my name was Lily. I found out it was called "training." That is how it all began, my new life with my person mommy. I love her so much. I would never want to be anywhere else.

  1. Such a sweet baby you were - must have been scary to leave your bothers & sisters so young!! I was 13 weeks old when I came home, and it still was quite a shock! Isn't it funny how big are ears look when we are little - hard to believe that we can grow into them, but just look at us now :)

  18. Hi Lily,

What a great baby story! Mom loves when dogs have "kissy spots" on top their heads. I have one and she is always smooching on it.
